- 36 storekeepers & Pharmacists removed from their places
SRINAGAR : Health services department has gone for a major overhaul in the system and has removed most of the storekeepers and pharmacists from their places.
The department has issued the transfer orders of 36 junior and Senior Pharmacists breaking their decades old stint at one place. Director General Health Services Dr. Saleem ur Rehman told that the transfers were necessitated to streamline the system. He said more overstaying officials woods be transferred in the coming days.
Meanwhile DGHS has also directed all the Chief Medical Officers, MSs, BMOs and other DDOs of the department not to place the transferred pharmacists as storekeepers.
“There are clear cut directions that none of the transfered pharmacists in the list shall be given store charges. ”
General public has appreciated DG for taking the Initiative aiming to streamline the system.
